PHILOSOPHY
Learning a World Language has almost become a necessity in our modern world of instant global communication. Knowing a different language and culture enhances any field of study. It is our belief that the study of language requires an open mind on the part of the students. It is a cooperative effort between the students, the teacher and the parents. It is a new, exciting, and different experience. The student must have patience and perseverance as the study progresses in this very new field. Volunteering, repeating, studying, and not being afraid of making honest mistakes are integral parts of learning and enjoying language study. Like any other skill, practice is key for the success in learning a new language. Therefore, homework completion is of utmost importance. It is assigned almost every evening and it is a percentage of the quarterly grades of the respective language teachers. Lastly, when absent, making up work as soon as possible is imperative for the learning process to continue since language study is progressive and cumulative.
