Course Length: Half Year
Prerequisite: Successful Completion of 2 years of Science with a grade of C or
This course is designed as an investigation of the “world of
air” around us. It is a non-technical treatment of fundamentals of weather.
Topics of discussion will include: general features of the atmosphere, the
water cycle, air motions, wind patterns, weather systems, weather instruments,
measurement, forecasting, and climate. An independent project will be required
of those enrolled in this course.
